C25K W5D2 today.

I ended up walking the last minute of the 2nd 8 minute run in today's program. A bit of asthma kicked in and I simply felt a need for more air than I was getting.

The stats for today were 4.34 KM @ 8:42 minutes per km for 37:51 minutes.
466 calories

I think I'll repeat Day 2 for my next run before moving on the the 20 minute non stop run of day 3.

Aw, come on. Who needs to breathe? Just run on the grass and when you pass out, it won't hurt so much!
Just kidding, when my asthma kicks in, I really take notice, too.

It's a wise move Batman,

I've been really lucky that, since I quit smoking, mt asthma has rarely reared its head during a run. You have to be on the safe side. And what's an extra day in nine weeks?

Is Mt. Asthma a volcano? Sorry for the typo...

Thanks for the notes guys... I neglected to mention in the blog that I had a cigar earlier in the day. I haven't had one in about a month... I don't know if that caused the problem or not but certainly it didn't help.

We've had our first little bit of cooler weather starting yesterday too, and for me the asthma seems a bit worse when it's cooler.

As I mentioned in an earlier post asthma has always been something I have to account for, but the running in general will help it if I'm sensible.

As for the cigars.. I have 2 left in the humidor ... so when they are gone ... that's probably the end of them.
